The Plateroti Center for Holistic Medicine brings together the talents of a number of professionals in the conventional, complementary, and alternative medicine fields. This expert team creates an environment that embodies the essence of healing, and under the direction of Dr. Carmelo Plateroti, D.O., provides alternative/ holistic medicine consultations. The emphasis at the Plateroti Center is on providing guidance to help individuals promote their own longevity, human potential and success in their own healing and preventative process. We believe the body's ability to heal itself, to harmonize and find its way back to wholeness.

Carmelo Plateroti, D.O., FOUNDER MEDICAL DIRECTOR
Dr. Plateroti brings more than 25 years of clinical experience and providing Holistic Medical Care to patients for over 15 years on the Central Coast of California. Dr. Plateroti felt it was important to attend a Medical School that provided a "whole person" approach to medicine and attended Osteopathic Medical School. Instead of just treating specific symptoms or illnesses, they regard the body as an integrated whole.
Osteopathic physicians, also known as D.O.s, work in partnership with their patients. They consider the impact that lifestyle and community have on the health of each individual, and they work to erase barriers to good health.
