The Plateroti Center for Holistic Wellness brings together the talents of a number of professionals in the conventional, complementary, and alternative medicine fields. This expert team creates an environment that embodies the essence of healing, and under the direction of Dr. Carmelo Plateroti, D.O., provides alternative/ holistic medicine consultations. The emphasis at the Plateroti Center is on providing guidance to help individuals promote their own longevity, human potential and success in their own healing and preventative process. We believe the body's ability to heal itself, to harmonize and find its way back to wholeness.

Carmelo Plateroti, D.O., FOUNDER MEDICAL DIRECTOR
As a native of Italy, Dr. Plateroti received his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Plateroti brings more than 25 years of clinical experience in Complementary Medicine to the Central Coast of California. Dr. Plateroti felt it was important to attend a Medical School that provided a "whole person" approach to medicine and attended Osteopathic Medical School. Instead of just treating specific symptoms or illnesses, they regard the body as an integrated whole.
