Dr. Plateroti received his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Plateroti brings more than 25 years of clinical experience and providing Holistic Medical Care to patients for over 17 years on the Central Coast of California. Dr. Plateroti felt it was important to attend a Medical School that provided a "whole person" approach to medicine and attended Osteopathic Medical School. Instead of just treating specific symptoms or illnesses, they regard the body as an integrated whole.
During medical school Dr. Plateroti also specialized in alternative modalities for healing and became a member of the American College for Advancement in Medicine, the leading Integrative Medicine organization for Complementary Medicine. Dr. Plateroti's wealth of knowledge and passion in the hard sciences of a western medical model allowed him to combine his expertise in Family Medicine and Complementary Medicine, merging together the best of both healing practices.

Dr. Plateroti realized in his medical practice that there was potential in western medicine for the establishment of a new life-giving paradigm, one that encompassed the fundamental principle that perfect health is more than just the absence of disease. He began to envision a medical system based upon the premise that health is a lively state of harmony and integration of body, mind and spirit. Dr. Plateroti has been specializing in women's and men's health for over 20 years.
Dr. Plateroti founded the Plateroti Center in the Central Coast more than a decade ago to create a place where individuals from around the world could come to harmonize, heal, and transform to wholeness.
